House Parents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Married couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same students. Qualifications include experience working with youth, being legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort leading devotions and chapels on a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
