Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead daily devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time when students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
