Job Summary
House Parents who are married couples will reside on campus and provide supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a household setting; duties include coordinating schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting, and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to living with the same group of students in a Placed Houseparent assignment; requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
