Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent team sought for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. The couple will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines and budgets, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead devotions, and participate in daily and weekend activities. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a single, long-term houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; valid driver’s license required; high school diploma or GED required; two-year married status and minimum age of 27 for both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
