Job Summary
Married couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student home. Compensation includes salary of $44,768 per person (about $168,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Required qualifications include youth experience, two-year married status, age 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty).
