Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents residing on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee household routines and budgeting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple student homes, and may transition to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses at least 27 years old
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
