Job Summary
Two-person married couple will live on-campus in student homes at Milton Hershey School and provide care, guidance, supervision, and mentorship to a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and adhering to a structured nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. This role requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. The position offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a total annual compensation of approximately $168,000 per couple when including housing and meals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working with youth
- Relocation assistance provided
- Willingness to reside on-campus in student homes
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
