House Parents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Two-person, married-couple role at Milton Hershey School as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes (Hershey, PA). Couples reside in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of approximately 8–13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in a fixed student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, relocation assistance, paid time off, and paid training. Qualifications include experience with youth, two-year married status for both spouses, both spouses aged 27+, up to three dependent children, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; willingness to lead devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel; and high school diploma or GED. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
