Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (a married couple) reside on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and a structured family-like environment for about 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and progresses to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, life insurance, disability options, PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Desire to work in a residential setting with youth
- Complete individual employment applications (both spouses)
