Job Summary
Two-person married couple is hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside on campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, overseeing a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided, along with comprehensive benefits and housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
