Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and structured, family-like support for groups of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, supervising routines and student schedules, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and evolving from a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle to a placed houseparent role with the same student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married (for each spouse)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Must be legally married for at least two years for both spouses
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
