Job Summary
House Parents – Full-time Flex Houseparents: married couples reside on-campus in student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; duties include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, budgeting, and household reporting; initial nine-on/three-off schedule with eventual placement in a dedicated student home, plus relocation to Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years married (two-person role)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited; comfortable leading devotions and chapel services
- Residence on-campus in student homes
- Experience working with youth (volunteering or employment)
