Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents—a two-person, married-couple role—reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Relocation is provided, along with comprehensive benefits, medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, and paid training. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with van-certification ability, and the demonstrated integrity/commitment to student success; both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status (two-spouse role)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
