Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, supervision, and guidance to approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
