Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, plan activities, manage household routines and budgets, supervise medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and chapel, and report on household operations. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years (two-spouse role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- On-campus on-duty schedule (nine days on, three days off) and transition to Placed Houseparent
- Experience with youth preferred
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
