Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of ~813 students. Responsibilities include supervising household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. The role begins in a flexible on-duty cycle (nine consecutive days on, three off) and progresses to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Two-year married commitment (for both spouses)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the home
