Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes and act as a two-person team to provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. The role requires a married couple, on-campus housing provided, relocation assistance, and a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with benefits and training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
