Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School located in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, drive students to activities, lead devotions and Chapel, manage household routines and budgets, and transition from initial nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent arrangement living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Requires two-year married status, both spouses 27+, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Salary is $44,768 per person (~$168k total per couple) with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
