Job Summary
Two-person, married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on campus to supervise and care for a group of 8–13 students, providing mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially supporting various student homes on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse two-year married requirement
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
