Job Summary
Married couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, mentorship, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent arrangement with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires two individual applications from both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse requirement (must be a married couple)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
