Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, guiding a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off cycle to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student group. Benefits include a per-person salary of $44,768 with relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year minimum marriage for consideration
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
