Job Summary
Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role evolves from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent, with on-campus housing and a two-person team comprised of legally married spouses. Skills and duties emphasize youth-focused care, transportation, program planning, spiritual activities, budgeting in a live-in home setting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment for student development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
