Job Summary
Married couples reside on-campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, supervising 8–13 students in group homes, providing care, mentorship, scheduling, medications administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role progresses from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Responsibilities include budgeting, household reporting, and fostering a structured, family-like environment to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Two-person, on-campus position with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of married life, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Residence on-campus in student homes
- Ability to live and work with the same group of students in their own home (Placed Houseparent)
