Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in a student home in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support to a group of approximately 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and can transition to a placed houseparent role with a continued home assignment. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to be role models for students
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
