Job Summary
House Parents - a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
