Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) live on campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and guiding daily routines. The role progresses from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires on-campus residence, relocation assistance, and benefits. Qualifications include youth experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be at least 27 years old.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse, married-couple requirement
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
