Job Summary
House Parents for married couples to reside on a Milton Hershey School campus, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for groups of 8–13 students across student homes. Responsibilities include overseeing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role. Requires a two-spouse, fully on-site commitment with relocation to Hershey, PA (and related on-campus homes in La Salle, IL), a high school diploma or GED, and both spouses aged 27+. Offers full-time benefits, relocation assistance, and housing as part of total compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- High school diploma or GED
- Both spouses 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited in religious instruction
- Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel
- Experience with youth preferred
