Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, and activities; initial nine-on/three-off schedule, transitioning to a placed houseparent; requires high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to lead devotions and Sunday Chapel; relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be a legally married couple for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No alcohol on duty; campus smoke-free and weapon-free
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
