Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead recreational and developmental programs, including daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services. Transition from supporting multiple homes on a nine-on-three-off rotation to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Maintain a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment with strict pet and safety compliance. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Couples must be married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older and no more than three dependent children.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
