Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for approximately 8–13 students, managing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and developmentally appropriate programming. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and coordinating a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement into a consistent home. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus; the position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to reside in on-campus student homes as part of a two-person team
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
