Job Summary
House Parents – Flex Houseparents for on-campus student homes. Two-person couples reside in student homes (approx. 8–13 students) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support, manage household routines, supervise medications and student wellness, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Initially work a nine days-on, three days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA with salary per person of $44,768 plus comprehensive benefits and housing, meals, and utilities. Relocation assistance and paid training provided, plus PTO. Requires youth-experience, strong integrity, and a two-spouse application process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
