Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Houseparents live on campus in student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, drive to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting; initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home and relocation to Hershey, PA, supported by relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two-spouse roles for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
