Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for approximately 813 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and lead daily devotions while accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social growth. This full-time role requires nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled time on weekdays while students are in school. Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both age 27 or older, and hold valid U.S. driver's licenses. Salary is $46,917 per person, including free housing and meals during duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
