Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($46,917) with total compensation for a couple around $180,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance options, retirement benefits, and paid time off. Qualifications include youth experience, high school diploma or GED, legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty; and completing individual applications for consideration. Required Qualifications
