Job Summary
House Parents provide on-campus supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a family-like home setting. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, medications, transporting students to activities, planning development/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured home environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
