Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes with 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, mentorship, and support. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Proven ability to lead students in devotions and chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
