Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship to approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and initially work a nine-on, three-off schedule before transitioning to a fixed student-home placement. Relocation assistance is provided and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies this role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to model positive behavior for students
- Two-person role for couples (both apply and be employed)
