Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA live on-campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, guidance, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting and engaging students in activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on / three-days-off cycle to a placed-houseparent arrangement with the same student group. The role offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing utilities included, with a compensation of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
