Job Summary
House Parents – a two-person, full-time on-campus role in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes (8–13 students) and provide care, supervision, and support, including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a rotating schedule (nine days on, three off) to a stable placed home. Requires two-year married status, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver; license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and demonstrated integrity in a faith-based, smoke-free, weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
Additional Requirements
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
