Job Summary
House Parents – Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students per home) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support, including managing routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Nine days on duty followed by three days off during the initial phase, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse requirement: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
