Job Summary
Married couples serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus in student homes and supervising 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three off to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; relocation assistance is provided. The role is a two-person, on-campus position with benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and housing benefits.”,
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
