Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance to a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role starts in a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across various homes and can transition to aPlaced Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation/training support for couples who are legally married and eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
