Job Summary
Couple-based, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes in Hershey, PA, providing care, guidance, supervision, and structured activities for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (around $44,768) with total compensation for the couple near $168,000, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
