Job Summary
House Parents are a two-person, full-time role living on-campus in student homes to care for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (approx. $44,768) with total package around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and training. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; two spouses must be legally married for at least two years and both must be 27 or older. This is a two-person, on-campus living and caregiving role focused on student development within Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.
Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Proof of ability to become certified to drive student home vans
