Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide care, supervision, guidance, and mentoring to a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, the schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with a pathway to transition into a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services (Judeo-Christian)
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model expectations
- Complete individual employment applications (for both spouses)
Additional Requirements
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated ability to live in on-campus home with students
- May relocate to or reside in on-campus student homes
