Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and supervising budgeting and reporting. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same student group in their own home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits plus relocation assistance. Both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
