Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes (groups of 8–13 students), provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance; manage household routines, schedules, and medications; drive students to activities and plan/develop recreational and developmental activities; lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement to live with the same student group in their own home; relocation to Hershey, PA is required; benefits include salary per person (~$44,768) plus relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
