Job Summary
House Parents in a two-person, fully on-campus living arrangement. Full-time Flex Houseparents provide supervision, mentorship, and family-like structure for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. The role requires a legally married couple, both at least 27, and a commitment to a safe, alcohol-free campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married as a couple for at least two years
- Couples must complete individual applications
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
