Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents are needed to live on-campus in Hershey, PA, supervising and guiding a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home, with duties including daily supervision, mentoring, routines, medication administration, transportation, activities, devotions, and budgeting/reporting; the role starts with a nine-on/three-off schedule and may transition to a placed houseparent position. The position requires a legally married couple (both spouses, age 27+, with at least two years of marriage) to relocate; benefits include salary per person (~$44,768), relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and housing/meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
