Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus to supervise and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students. The role offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off. This is a fixed two-spouse position requiring both spouses to apply individually, with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual placement in a stable student-home setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples; each must complete individual employment applications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
